Seaside Park Annexation

On Monday, March 30, 2026, Seaside Park officially annexed South Seaside Park from Berkeley Township. This includes the area serviced by Shore Water Company.

Shore Water Company has provided water service to the area that includes South Seaside Park since 1952 and will continue to do so as a privately owned company. This annexation does not change your water service provider. Please see below for frequently asked questions.

Will annexation affect my bill?

You will continue to be serviced by Shore Water Company for your water at rates set by the NJ Board of Public Utilities. Annexation will not affect your bill or your service. Please continue to pay your bill according to the annual invoice you received.

Is Shore Water now part of Seaside Park?

Shore Water Company will continue to operate as normal and is not part of the Seaside Park Water Dept or Public Works. Shore Water Company is a private company regulated by the NJ Board of Public Utilities.

What should I do if I have a leak?

If you are a Shore Water Company customer, you should call our office or visit our website for any questions like those concerning your bill or to report a leak.

Will annexaction affect my service?

You will continue to be serviced by Shore Water Company without disruption or changes to your bill or service.
